What is the native way to ask the bus driver about the frenquency of the bus?

Would you say "How often does this bus run"?

Or "how often is this bus running"?

Or "what is the frenquency of this bus"?

Would you say "How often does this bus run?" Yes, that's what I'd say, and I would expect << a senior member not to introduce a second topic. >>

All are understandable. The second is not a natural way to express the question.
The first and third are idiomatic and correct, but the third is too formal for the situation.
    Stick with No. 1.
