I´m writing in response to your job post for the Program

    Hola a todos. Estoy escribiendo una carta de presentación para mi cv en inglés. Quisiera saber si la siguiente frase (que es con la que empiezo la carta) está bien escrita: ´I´m writing in response to your job post for the Young Professionals Program´

    Hola,

    Casi perfecta en mi opinión. Lo único que te sugeriría es que evites el uso de contracciones en las cartas de presentación. Así que yo escribiría I am writing... Aparte de eso, me parece muy natural. Saludos...

    However you choose to write the sentence in the end, I recommend you don't use <post>.

    "I'm writing in reference to your job opening in The Young Professionals Program."

    Now, the emphasis is clearly on the job and the program, not on the job advertisement. Even the fact that you have written a letter can be implicitly understood. Therefore, you could use this sentence as a subject heading at the beginning of the letter.

    Name:
    Street address:
    Phone:
    E-mail:

    Subject: Job opening in The Young Professionals Program.

    You could then begin by discussing your work experience, special skills, and/or personal interests.
