I do not want to go to the South of France

    Bonjour à tous


    I am having problems with the following sentence.The sentence causing concern is

    I do not want them to go to the South of France
    Ma tentative
    Je ne veux pas qu’ils aillent au Sud de la France.
    Est mon emploi de subjonctif correct ici?
    Merci d’avance (SVP corrigez les autres erreurs)

    in the center of France
    FRANCE FRENCH
    ... " dans le sud de la France"
    yes, subjunctive is correct here

    :=)

    parce que c'est comme ça qu'on dit en français ;-)

    French
    "au sud" is the direction.
    "dans le Sud" is a region.
    Both are correct but you must probably refer to the region.
