Is it: mi sento come un pesce in un mare di squali?
Or: mi sento che io sia un pesce in un mare di squali?

In Italy we used to say:
"vaso di coccio tra i vasi di ferro"

i would say: "mi sento come un pesciolino in un mare di squali"
pesciolino is little fish, just to underline this sensation...
    ciao!

Underline this sensation is a very interesting way of putting that laurfran. Most people would very boringly say, emphasize this feeling.

No, no, Charles ti ha fatto un complimento! Veramente, "underline this sensation" suona molto bene in inglese!

I would like to confirm what Elaine said laurfran. I wasn't being diplomtic. I actually think that translating that literally, which is what I presume you have done, has created a very interesting turn of phrase. If I was trying to tell you diplomatically that it was wrong I would have said, "Laurfran, it would be better to say..........."
