I got confused about the date...

    Good evening,

    If I am going to London tomorrow then I realized that I am leaving the day before .. I got or I was confused by or with or about the date ?

    Hm...I'd probably say "I was/got confused about the date" (depending on what tense you are using)

    I'd say "I was confused about the date", I'd only use the construction "I got confused about the date..." if I was adding what caused my confusion.... "I got confused about the date because the salesperson said Wednesday by mistake". The I was construction accepts that the confusion was my fault, the I got construction allows for causation.
