I mixed up words

I was on a long-distance bus where the two places the bus goes have a bit similar names (let's say Kuusankoski and Valkeakoski)

The bus stopped in Kuusankoski, and there a passenger hops in and said "Kuusankoski". The bus driver got confused and said "Me ollaan Kuusankoskella!"

The passenger corrected and said that what he meant is Valkeakoski and said something like "Sanat sekas" (??)

What might the passenger have said in such a situation?

He probably said "sanat sekos" - "the words got mixed".
