在听shelley harland的in the dark时,有这么句歌词:I sense my skin in between the waves

feel electric,

I sense my skin in between the waves。

    Here in the dark
    I feel electric
I sense my skin in between the waves
I am human, I am criminal

The word "dark" is usually associated with cold, lonely, despair, numb & etc.
She said she "felt" a (electric) sensation from her skin.
Like all human, if you can feel, you are most likely alive and kicking even if it is in the dark.

    Just a poor attempt. :p

With this kind of poetic/ creative writing, it's often not easy to give an answer, but the English-Only forum is still the place where one may get a better number of likely answers for questions on English.

And yes, strictly speaking, the question is not complete without the context & source. These will help not only to acttract more replies but also more accurate replies. It's not a good practice to expect helpers themselves to search for the source & context before they can help.
