La frase potrebbe essere questa: "lui e' un regista molto bravo ma i suoi ultimi due film non mi sono piaciuti."
    Grazie in anticipo.

His last two movies è troppo facile?

What about "his two latest movies"? :)

"Movie" is preferred in America, "film" in Britain, but both are acceptable on both sides of the Atlantic.
"Latest" clearly means "most recent", while "last" could be interpreted as "final", so probably "latest" is better.

Negli USA, diciamo tutt'e due film e movie. E' dipendente dalle circostanze e chi parli.

Quindi la traduzione migliore dovrebbe essere "he is a very good director but I didn't like his two latest movies".
    Giusto?

If you use the past, maybe "last" is better, so
    A) ... but I didn't like his last two movies.
    B) ... but I don't like his two latest movies.
Don't ask me why the word order changes!
