    Hi,

I am writing a formal thank-you letter and I am having trouble.

Here is the sentence that I would like to say in Italian:

"I truly appreciate your time and effort and your letter was more than I could have hoped for."

It is formal, so I am not sure how I should phrase this in Italian.
Thank you for the help! :)

Here is my attempt...I am not so sure it is correct and I can't seem to get the last part of the sentence either. How would I phrase: 'hoped for' ? :\

I thank you for all of your help!!

    Ciao emmalee,

    I'd say:

    or
