    I was looking at the lyrics for a song written by a German band when I noticed that song of the lyrics are in Icelandic.

    "Þá kemur inn ríki
    að regindómi
    öflugur ofan,
    sá er öllu ræður

    Þar kemur inn dimmi
    dreki fljúgandi,
    naður fránn, neðan
    frá Niðafjöllum;
    ber sér í fjöðrum,
    flýgur völl yfir,
    Niðhöggur nái.
    Nú mun hún sökkvast"

    Fairly certain it's not gonna be fantastic Icelandic (probably written by a German, after all) but can anyone translate this for me? I've tried Google Translate, but it's obviously not fantastic.

    Thanks in advance. :3

    This is not really what this forum is for. However, I can tell you that this is a quotation from the poem Völuspá, verses 66 and 67, most definitely not written by a German. Use that information and it should be easy for you to find an English translation using Google.

    Edit: Some versions have different numbering; it is simply the final two verses.
