I am want to say "If this is okay, please let me know" in a formal letter. This is want I came up with:

Je voudrais donc vous poser quelques questions sur l'affaire. Si ça va bien, faites le moi savoir s'il vous plait.

Is there a phrase that is more native than "Si ça va bien, faites le moi savoir s'il vous plait."?

    Thank you.

"Faites-moi savoir si cela vous convient."
    Ou
"Si vous n'y voyez pas d'inconvénient, faites-le moi savoir"

This is a bit more formal
Je me permets de vous adresser quelques questions concernant ce dossier et par conséquent je vous saurais gré de me faire part de vos appréciations.

You're right about the formal tone, but (question for kennyr87) wasn't that an interview request?

(meaning : do you keep your questions for you till the interview or do you actually ask them straight away in the letter?)

Not an face to face interview request, but a request to ask questions via e-mail.

"I would like to ask you some questions about the matter. If this is okay, please let me know."

This is what I would say in English.

    I think:

"If you would permit me to ask you some questions ... " is a little too formal.

I didn't realise that it was for an interview, but even so be careful in France when dealing with a potential employer, you are expected to be fairly formal in your approach.
Is this OK - est-ce que ça marche? ne marche pas.

I am not interviewing for a job. I am writing a letter to a reporter requesting to ask questions about an article they wrote.
