    Hi guys,

    Salve.

I was editing/translating some of my mate's verses

Correggevo le bozze per un mio amico ma sono in difficoltà per alcune cose

    Example:

"Il modo in cui venivo affascinato ogni volta dalle tue labbra"

    Per me è/ I translate:

"The way I was charmed each and every time by your lips"

ma, non so, qualcosa non mi suona bene.

    Chi mi aiuta?
    :)

Oh, it's a poem. We can "sbizzarize".

How your lips would enchant me time and again

"Used to" might be more appriate than "would" in case your friend was contrasting the past to the present. If you posted the whole thing, or at least a big chunk of it, it would be easier for us.

    thanks

but i'd prefer to keep the "the way I was charmed each and every" structure
but I want to know if it's correct or not. doesn' sound 100% right to me.

    thanks again!

I was charmed by your lips sounds just a little odd. What about
The way your lips would fascinate me, each and every time

I knew there was something wrong about it.thanks. the thing is that I'd like to put the object (the lips) in a second verse.
the way I was charmed each and every time by
    your lips that ...........................................

    that's the structure.

so we can do something like
the way i would have been fascinated each and every time by
    the lips ........................

what do you think? just to keep this structure

    thanks again!
