If you woke up one day 20kg heavier, how would you say in Arabic "I'm fat! Emergency!" before calling the hospital...

    "!أنا سمين! الطوارئ"

    Alexandria, Egypt
    Arabic (Egypt).
You can also go for أنجدوني (save me!) which has more connotation of urgency that ساعدوني.

What's the difference between using badeen and sameen? I hear people being referred to as sameen more.
  6. Bakr Senior Member

The two words are synonyms, and I think you hear sameen سمين more than badeen بدين because it is the word used
    in colloquial Arabic.

We use ثخين in the Egyptian dialect
