    Greetings

We have recently had a conservatory added onto our house, and my wife reminded me (in Turkish) that first of all the glass panels were made, then the anti-fly netting, then other things.

She described this process as ‘yarım yarım’ i.e. we didn't have the whole thing done in one go but rather in stages. I would have said ‘aşama aşama’ for this, myself.

What would you say is best: 'yarım yarım' or 'aşama aşama' or something else again?

    Best wishes, and many thanks,

    Simon

In this case "aşama aşama" is the correct way to describe this process.
