    Hello
    It's the movie "At Middleton".
    Students are visiting this college.
The guy who guides them says,
"Hey, let's float on over to this residence hall.
Just up the stairs and, ironically, it's just past the Ps."

People laugh a bit after this and that's all.
No idea what this Ps is here.
Searched on line but couldn't find anything.
    Any idea?
    Thank you

    Even a hunch would help.

P is for Patience ... someone will help. Maybe. :)

(That's not a hint, hunch or answer -- it's advice for life.)

Chopin, judging by the link kindly provided by Copyright, your quote isn't quite accurate:( - there's actually a dialogue going on:
Person A: Hey, let's float on over to this residence hall.
Person B: Ooh, speaking of floating...
Person A: I know what that means. Just up the stairs and, ironically, it's just past the Ps.

My best bet is that Person B is suggesting he/she needs to find a loo. And Person A is making a pun on the letter P (a reference to door numbers?) and the word pee.

    Oh, I see.
    Thank you very much, Loob.
A bit deep this for me.
