No enteniendo esta phrase: los jueces de policia local conceran de todas las acciones que eman de esta ley.

i know that it is saying that the local police jduges will have jurisidiction over claims from this law, but i don't understand this type of judge (administrative, criminal, etc).

    mil gracias. barbara

    ¡está mal escrito!
Los jueces de policia local conciernan de todas las acciones que emanan de esta ley.

Los jueces conciernan=they are concerned, competent...
de todas las acciones que emanan= ...of any actions that are concerning (again!) with this law

Thanks, Avisor. This phrase was taken directly from a Chilean statute.

emanar means almost the same as "emanating from", but we tend to use emanate for aromas, ideas, less concrete "emanations"... In this context, I would translate it as "matters arising from," or "actions brought under, the present statute."
