    "la donna e' brava, eppure non mi tornano troppi conti." How to translate this to English?

    When you are talking about the relationship between people, how do you translate "non mi tornato conti"?
    I read the previous discussion about money balance. However, I don't know how to translate this one.

    She's a good woman but she doesn't add up.
    BTW, the Italian sentence is incorrect. It should be either:
    ... eppure non mi tornano troppo i conti
    or
    eppure non mi tornano i conti

    Credo che si possa accettare la forma italiana che significa: "sono troppi i conti che non tornano", anche se non è così usuale.
