Labirintite - che cosa e'? E' seria?
Labirintite (labyrinthitis?) is an inflammation of the labyrinth, the circular canals of the middle ear, caused by bacterial or viral infection.
But I have a feeling we don't say "labyrinth" in English.
PS I've checked on Google and it's right in English too.
Ciao. You should ask your doctor, not the Forum...
As Mickele says, we tell you what it is, but your doctor will tell you if it's serious!
Not me, a friend. I needed to know whether I should bring a pizza and a box of tissues, or a surgical mask and gown!
I eventually found labyrinthitus on Google, but I'd never heard of it. Sounds nasty....
It's a balance disorder - somewhat like Vertigo.
In addition to labyrinthitis (pron. “lab-uh-rin-THY-tus”), we sometimes say inner-ear infection
Separate names with a comma.
