    no, when to persons are talking together but they don t understand what they are saying because in fact they are not talking about the same thing so it is a misunderstanding...
    Does that make sense?

    Je crois que ce serait plutôt un dialogue de sourds, ou un quiproquo.

    (Misunderstanding may be a good choice indeed).

    Indeed, Dialogue de sourds is when two people ignore each other arguments, while quiproquo (misunderstanding indeed) is when, while in good faith, they don't talk about the same thing.
