How can I translate "like a clam torn from its shell" from this Basho poem:

    Sadly, I part from you-
like a clam torn from its shell,
    I go, and autumn too.

    Thanks

Una vongola strappata dal suo guscio (lett. conchiglia)?

I'll mention this because it is poetry, but in English,
the phrase means "I'm being taken away from the protection/world".

Does the Italian translation give the same sense?

You're right, the literal translation sounds funny to me....:D
