    Hello everyone

I want to translate "The nails that fixed Christ to the Cross were of iron"

    etc.
    etc.

Your help will be much appreciated :)

    Hola!

¿Tal vez 'fijar', 'sujetar'...?

    Muchas gracias Antto y Hajt

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. I thought I gave the proper context but now I think that I didn´t. The phrase I should have given would be ...

"The nails" que discuto son "The iron nails that fixed Christ to the Cross"

Does this make the translation different?

    NOTE
My apologies for misleading everyone. I am interested in both ways of saying it so your efforts were not wasted.
