¿Alguien conoce una expresión equivalente en inglés?
Maybe something like "better to be a big fish in a small pond (than to be a little fish in a big pond)"?
It's kind of saying that it's better to be the best in a small field than to be average in a big field - I think that's the same gist as the Spanish saying.
I agree with Jodyanne,
"It's better to be a big fish in a little pond to being a little fish in a lake."
It´s better be the head of an ass than the tail of a horse.
Separate names with a comma.
