    Hello!
I am not sure about the spelling, as I copied it from handwriting. It is a person collecting specimens for a biodiversity atlas (Pacific Ocean). Any idea of what animal (probably insect) could be?
    There is a possibility it is a made-up animal, but I don't think so (it's a novel).

    The extract:
"I was halfway up a pal tree looking for Mamit eggs when I slipped"

    Thanks!

Si estaba escalando/trepando un árbol en busca de huevos, probablemente se trata de un ave. Just a thought.
