    Hi there!

I am translating (IT>EN) an email explaining how to instal prefab panels. It is written by a technician.

At a certain point, the author says that, after casting the panels in situ (gettati in sito is the original Italian), the panels would be

    "maturati in sito".

I believe we are talking about concrete panels, though it is never explicitly mentioned.

Could any engineer out there possibly give me some hints as far as that "maturato" is concerned. I was wondering whether we could talk about hardening in English. Hardening on site, maybe?

Thank you very much in advance for any contribution,

    V.
