Hey everybody, I'd like to know if my translation of the sentence in the title is correct:

"They gave me the books of Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics"

I don't know why but the preposition "of" just doesn't sound right to me :(

"They gave me the Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics books." does sound better.

What is the context? Could these be book lists?

It's not a book list, they are just books that someone gave me. is it correct to use "on"?

    Books on biology?

    "On" is fine.
