Medical records in Spanish indicate NXB with nothing else next to it. It is in a lit of 7, which I assume is the treatment that was done for the patient. I cannot find anything indicating that this is a Spanish medical abbreviation.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Mayadas: I think I found the answer you were looking for. NxB means in Spanish "Nada por boca". "x" for a Spanish speaker is the symbol of multiplication and it is read like the preposition "por" . See this medical text

This acronym is also known in Spanish as "NPB". See Navarro´s glossary
NPB
1 dieta absoluta [sin.: nada por boca] {→ NPVO :1}
