How do you translate that phrase into English language?

I will send you a text message by cell phone.

I would like to know other way to translate that phrase into English.
    Thanks

I'll send you a text message by cell phone is fine, but sounds odd to me.

Just saying, "I'll send you a text message" implies that you're using a cell phone.

Also: "I'll send you a text [message] from my [cell]phone."

    Bien

I'll send you an sms (that's the way text messages sent by mobiles are called)

You can even say "I'll send you a text," and most people will understand what you are saying.

I have never heard anyone say this. Yes the messages are sms, but most people will not understand what you are saying.

Thanks to let me know!!, that's the way I call them and tell my friends here in Argentina, and I thought -as it is an English acronym- that you'd call it like that.

    Cheers!

:D ¡Pues qué gracia! Aquí los anuncios de televisión también están todo el día diciendo "Manda un SMS al ....". Resulta que es un acrónimo en inglés y ellos no lo usan :D

we also use "text" as a verb in this sense.
e.g.: "i'll text you later" is understood to reference text messaging

what does sms stand for? is it english?

Los companías escriben "SMS" en la descripción en los anuncios (no se comó se dice "fine print"), pero ellos nunco lo dicen, y los personas no lo leen.
