I'm translating a document for a grant letter, and I was wondering, would the sentence look something like:

In addition, Echofab shares a vision in which intellectual property becomes an acting force behind both the real and virtual community.

    Does that make sense?

Actually, your english translation makes more sense to me than the original French sentence :)

Except that you omit the "refresh/new" idea that qualifies the "vision".

the meaning is : "... and take advantage of / make the most of the power given by the large real and virtual community we built."

So the sense would be something more like....:

In addition, Echofab partakes in a renewed vision of intellectual property, one which makes the most of the communities we have built, both real and virtual.

    ??

Ooff, thanks itisi, that sort of actually makes sense now!
