    como se traduce "mono de peluche"? es correcto decir cuddly toy? o stuffed animal?

    también puedes decir teddy bear, que es general para todos los animalitos de peluche, aunque se refiera a un osito.
    Stuffed animal también, pero me suena muy serio!!

    Si, suena como que el animalito ha sido embalsamado!! No me gusta esa forma de decirlo.

    You can say "stuffed animal" in general (that would be American English) or "soft toy" (that would be British English)

    I think you could also say "stuffed toy monkey". I am not sure if there is a more specific word for that.

    I know the story of "teddy bear". I tell it just in case someone is interested ;) It was named after the American president Theodore Roosevelt, whose nickname was Teddy. Among his hobbies, he liked hunting bears. It is said that he saved the life of a brown bear cub. Then, this story appeared in a cartoon in the Washington Post. After that, stuffed bears were called teddy bears.

    En EEUU sí decimos "stuffed animal". Usamos teddy bear sólo si es un osito. Stuffed animals es el término más general.

    Yo colecciono patos de peluche, entonces que tendría que decir ¿"stuffed ducks"?
