I'm trying to translate "nattering quarrel" into French; Could it be something like "dispute incessante" ??? Do I get it in English OK, I mean something like usual, almost "half normal speaking" way of quarreling? (the couple's usual way of communicating???) I am at a loss:confused:
    Please help!!

Peut-être je pourrais le décrire par... typically characterized by quick and angry or annoyed talking (arguing); an animated fight of words
