Hi there everyone! Last posts of the year... what do you think about the following translation?

No me es fácil diferenciar los propósitos profesionales de los personales, pues en algunos aspectos están imbricados en una trama bastante enmarañada. De hecho, en toda mi vida, unos han estado muy íntimamente relacionados con los otros

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

It´s not easy for me to differentiate my professional purposes from those personal, for in some aspects they have overlapped in a rather entagled plot. In fact, during my entire life, they have been very intimately related to each other.

    Thanks in advance! :)

Una de las correcciones de Jinti me parece un poco equivocada:

No me suena bien decir---differentiate my professional goals from my personal. Es incompleto.

Creo que deberías decir algo como:
o --differentiate my professional goals from my personal goals.
o --differentiate my professional from my personal goals.
o --differentiate my professional goals from my personal ones.

Sin contexto, creo que "los personales'' serían "the personal ones", como ''los buenos" serían "the good ones", "los rojos" serían "the red ones", etcetera.
