    Hi all,

I´ve got a question related to the sentence "no rest is worth anything except the rest that is earned". It is a quote from Johann Paul Friedrich Richter (Jean Paul).

I cant really find the right translation because from my point of view, it is a lazy quote, but im pretty sure that it is a hardworking quote.

Can the second "rest" be translated as "resto" (as google translator does) or it is "descanso" (as i think)?

According to me, it means: "no descansar vale todo, excepto el descanso que ganas" but i see it a little senseless =S

    Thanks for the help!

    Mi intento:
El único descanso que valga la pena es el descanso que se haya merecido.

Ningún descanso vale nada si no se ha ganado. /Solo vale el descanso que te has ganado.
