Hi everyone,

I think (I hope) I have an easy one this time! I'm looking through a book of photos and the captions sometimes include "Foto forf." For instance:

"67. Stol. Foto forf."

Does this mean the photograph is by the author, or is 'forf.' short for something else here? Thank you!

Hi,
It looks like you’ve been waiting for a reply since yesterday! ‘Forfatter’ (author) can be shortened to forf. and assuming that the context is right (i.e. that the ‘book of photos’ is not a family photo album :)) it would indicate that the author also provided the photos for his/her book.

Best,

Thanks so much for confirming my suspicions, Bic!
