    Average mark sound perfectly, but what about: arithmetic mean?

    "arithmetic mean" es la operación en sí, la media aritmética. Para decir nota media se emplea la otra expresión, "average mark".

    Eso es lo exacto, pero con "average" ya se entiende así, salvo que se concrete que es "median" o "mode".

    Pondría "for the three terms", o "a mark/grade that is averaged over the three terms".
    "Grade" es americano.
