    Bonjour,
    Je voudrais savoir comment dire "nous avons appris la triste nouvelle" ou "la disparition", ainsi qu'une formule d'usage du genre "nous vous présentons nos plus sincères condoléances"

    We are sorry to hear the sad news concerning the passing [away] of Mr/Mrs. _____. Please accept our sincere condolences.

    Trisia's suggestions sound right to me. A phrase often expressed to the aggrieved is you are in our thoughts and prayers.
