En términos legales, ¿una orden de alejamiento se dice "Removal warrant"?

    ¡¡Gracias por la ayuda!!

Restrain order, o será restraint order?

Se usa para mantener alejado a un marido golpeador, por ejemplo.

in California there is both a restraining order and a stay away order. The first is more formal than the latter.

Sorry, gang, but I believe we are talking about a Protective Order, in which a spouse (a veces es le dama que le da en el hocico al macho, no siempre el contrario) is ordered to stay away from spouse and children. The order may be issued in several forms, depending on whether it is an emergency order based upon a complaint alleging recent violence and danger of continuing violence filed with the police by the battered spouse (querella)or a filed by a third party [denuncia], issued after a hearing, or at the end of a trial of a divorce suit or criminal prosecution. The auto might, therefore, be in the form of a Temporary Restraining Order ("TRO"), a preliminary injunction, or a permanent injunction, any of which would be the common law equivalents of a prescripción negativa.

    Publíquese, cumplase.
