Supplier with a Quality System that conforms to the standards of the series UNE-En and that holds a certificate from the Quality System awarded by a nationally or internationally recognised Certification Organization

The part I am having trouble with is Certification Organization

    Any takers?

    Does the sentance sound coherent?

It is ment to be a bullet point.

I was looking exactly for this and found this thread... ununswered :(

    Certification body / agency / company ?

    Help please?

The first term that comes to mind is certifying body.

In Wikipedia entries, Lloyd's Register and DNV are referred to as a classification society. Lloyds is also called an independent risk management organization.

    Hope it helps.

You gave me the idea to look in the Internet not for the definition or translation, but for someone that could mention these companies.
So I went to the source. It it's ISO 9000 page, the official ISO site says:
So I'll definitively will stick with "certification body". Thanks!
