    Hi everyone,

I am translating a doctor's analysis diagnosis. In one of the parts called "Rango de Referencia" he says:

"Los diferentes patrones orientan hacia el diagnostico aunque estos no son totalmente especificos".

    My attempt:

"Different patterns direct towards the diagnosis although these are not entirely specific".

I don't think the word "direct" is correct in this context. Could it be "guide"?

    I appreciate the help!

    Thank you!

"lead to", as suggested by Huinca, certainly will work. I think it might be even more exact to say "point toward"
