How would you translate "Oro d'Autore" (its the title to an exhibition - jewellery designers make special pieces for the show). I can only come up with "Designer Gold" but I don't like it - I'm sure there's a more appropriate translation!

What about " Personalized golden thing" ?

As the title to an exhibition it doesn't seem quite right somehow.

Hi, Urs! What do you think of "Golden art"? Or, maybe, "artists and gold"?

Not bad - is there not a literal equivalent to "Oro d'Autore"?

I think "designer gold" sounds all right, but maybe you should include the word "exhibition":
    Designer Gold Exhibition
    Gold Designers' Exhibition

    To Mammut68: "golden" = "dorato".
