owner, resident (lease agreement)

    Hi everyone,

    I am translating a Lease Agreement and I am a bit confused whether or not the way I am doing this is correct. If someone could please proofread this sentence or just provide your input, I would really appreciate it.

    Original:

    Landlord/Lessor/Agent, ..., shall be referred to as "OWNER" and Tenant(s)/Lessee, ..., shall be referred to as "RESIDENT."

    My attempt:

    Propietario(a)/Arrendador(a)/Agente, , será referido(a) como “PROPIETARIO(A)” y el(la) Inquilino(a)(s)/Arrendatario(a), , será referido(a) como “HABITANTE”.

    En mi opinión, está bien, aunque yo hubiese preferido "Residente". También en mi opinión, no creo que haga falta añadir el "(a)" en cada caso. En español, el masculino es el género no marcado y, salvo indicación en contra, incluye al femenino.
