    Estoy traduciendo un pagaré libre de protesto pero no se como se dice en inglés. Mi intento es el siguiente: purchase and sell contract free of protest.

    yo tengo la misma pregunta, sin embargo mi intento es: Promissory note protest free

    It sounds like a "promissory note payable on demand." "Protesto" in the sense of swear, not protest.

    Now I know what I said before about "'protesto' in the sense of swear, not protest" is incorrect. I see that "protest" has the specific legal meaning here of
    a. A formal statement drawn up by a notary for a creditor declaring that the debtor has refused to accept or honor a bill.

    I'm not saying "free of protest" is wrong, I'm just thinking there must be a more usual way to say it.
