Go for a bike ride--although this could also refer to a motorcycle ride.

Are you sure? Could bicicleta refer to a motocicleta, or were you perhaps referring to the use of "pasear"?
In English, "bike" can refer to a bicycle, or to a motorcycle (e.g. "bikers" who ride Harleys). But I don't think "bicicleta" can refer to anything but just that.
    ¿De acuerdo? ¿No?

Si es andando sería for a walk.

    Hello,

I would prefer "go bikeriding" over "go for a bike ride."

But perhaps it's just personal preference.

    Cheers!

Yes, I agree. If you want to avoid the motorcyle confusion just say "Go for a bicycle ride."

O tricicleta?

Well, it would stop being a bike, wouldn´t it? Like an ARV or a tryke?

:D Ja Ja.
