    patria potestad ¿significa qué?

    En una sentencia de divorcio aparece: "guarda y cuidado del menor para la madre" pero luego dice "patria potestad diferida para ambos padres" ¿cómo se traduce? en el primer caso, yo diría "custody and care of the minor to the mother" pero luego no sé qué hacer con la otra frase...

    Patria potestad is parental authority. The Latin patria potestas is correct in legal documents.
