Is there any other word for "people skills"? A synonym?
Perhaps ability (?) I hope someone confirm or deny .
You mean "people ability"?
"People skills" is a common and well-understood expression these days. A more proper and traditional expression is "interpersonal skills"
This refers to the set of abilities that involve working with other people. This includes the ability to communicate well, to resolve problems, and to understand the needs and desires of other people.
Thanks TampaRay that's what I wanted to say in the first place, but it couldn't get out of my mind, I guess it was stuck somewhere right there. By the way, I agree with TampaRay that interpersonal skills would be the most appropriate expression to use instead of " people skills ".
I'm not a personnel expert, in fact I always have trouble knowing how many n's and l's it should have (I can look it up though ).
I feel that interpersonal skills is very much peer-to-peer.
Interpersonal skills are a social asset as well as being important in any work environment.
People skills would include people management, team-building, motivation and dealing with difficult situations involving employees.
People skills are an essential management competence.
Separate names with a comma.
