    They are talking about a recipe:

    Ringrazio Paolo per avermelo fatto scoprire ed insieme al quale l'ho rivisitato a modo mio.

    I thank you Paul for having found it for me and for helping me make it my own ?

    I would like to see the literal translation of the text in RED.

    I thank Paul for letting (or making, I'm not sure right now) me find it out and with whom I revisited it my own way.

    The sentence sounds incorrect in Italian, therefore I expect it to sound incorrect in English too.

    Maybe this would be better:

    I thank Paul, the man who made me discover it and who helped me revisiting it my own way.

    I thank Paul, the man who made me discover it and who stood by me when I revisited it my own way.

    Ci dormirò sopra...

    I thank Paul, who made me discover it and who joined me in revisiting it in my own way. [More like English].
