    Greetings,

This is from an email from an Iranian friend:
    ممنون بخاطره پی گیرات
He is thanking me for making enquiries about the whereabouts of a mutual friend.

But what does پی گیرات mean exactly, and what is it in Literary Persian, please?

    Best wishes, and many thanks,

    Simon

PS Interesting that he writes بخاطره, spelling the extra kasre as ه - is this usual in Colloquial Persian?

Some people make a lot of spelling mistakes when writing in colloquial format.
پیگیری هات = your enquiries, or your perservance in enquiring

And obviously بخاطره is wrong there but some times - specially in emails , texts etc - people write only having in mind how the words sound.
