Please, how can I say, “I have a degree-level qualification in Modern Greek”?

What I mean by this is that when I was working as a translator, I took and passed an exam which wasn't a university degree in itself, but which was accepted as the equivalent of a university degree.

    Best wishes, and many thanks,

Hi, seitt! The word used in Persian for 'equivalent' is moaadell, معادل. So you could say:

من در رشته ی زبان یونانی مدرن مدرکی معادل با کارشناسی دارم

Which, translated, means "I hold qualifications equivalent to a university degree in modern Greek".

If your qualification is accepted as the equivalent of a bachelor´s degree then in Persian you can say :

    من مدرکِ معادلِ کارشناسی در رشته زبانِ یونانیِ (مدرن / امروزی) دارم

I think in Persian it's not necessary to include the "modern" bit but still you can either say مدرن or امروزی to distinguish it from ancient greek -یونانی باستان

The point is, Treaty, the qualification in question is not academic, non-certified as it is by university officials.
