Greetings, and a happy New Year to all those in this forum celebrating it.

I'm in the middle of New Year celebrations myself, but would like to ask a quick question, please: how do you say, “I have a slight cold”, please?

I.e. nothing serious, but I have just a slight headache and a tendency to sneeze.

    Best wishes, and many thanks,

    Simon

Happy New Year to you, too.

    من سرماخوردگی اندکی دارم۔

Perhaps سرماخوردگی خفیفی دارم is better as opposed to سرماخوردگی شدید (a severe cold).

سرماخوردگی خفیفی دارم is correct, but fairly formal. Also the equivalent of سرماخوردگی شدید in colloquial is حسابي سرما خوردم.

I have a slight cold = يك كم سرما خوردم

چيز مهمي نيست! فقط يه كم سرم درد مي‌كنه و يه خورده هم عطسه مي‌كنم
