    Greetings

How can I say “to really get going on a job”, please?

It describes the situation you find yourself in when, have started a job perhaps with difficulty (although not necessarily), you are now working well and enjoying what you're doing. It could be any kind of job from a simple domestic task to something of great significance.

My sentence for translation: "Intially I hated having to make these bookshelves, but now that I've really got going on the job, I don't want to stop."

All the best, and many thanks,

    Simon

    Hi

This is how I would translate your text :

"Intially I hated having to make these bookshelves, but now that I've really got going on the job, I don't want to stop."

راه افتادن در کاری is probably the closest equivalent to that expression.

  3. Yes, also :

Thank you so much, excellent as ever. Sorry about the delay - I find this really hot weather really rather difficult.
