    Hi all,

" The table is formed of (by?) a top made out of solid wood laths of various wood type and of (by?) a frame and legs in......."

    Suona corretto?
    Thank you!:)

Ciao, I doubt you'd use the word "formed" here. I think constructed works better, or simply "made". What do you think of
The table top is made of solid planks of various types of wood...

Thank you. Of course your suggestion works well, but it forces me to change the structure of the sentence. You understand my point? The sentence "The table is made/constructed of a top............and a frame and legs......" is conceptually different from "The table top is made of solid planks of various type of wood and the structure and legs are in brushed steel". ( I understand that English tends to simplify, but I would be happy to remain quite literal, it it doesn't sound too heavy)
    What about
"The table is constituted by a top made of solid planks of various type of wood and a structure and legs made of brushed steel"
    ???

Constituted? Wouldn't be my first choice in your sentence, but could be personal.
"The table is has a top of solid planks of various types of wood and a structure and legs made of brushed steel"
Although my suggestion would still work quite well as in
The table top is made/constructed in solid planks of various types of wood and the legs and base in brushed steel.
I'm trying constitutes, but it sounds off for some reason
The table top constitutes solid planks of various types of wood while the legs and base are in brushed steel.
